Vitamins for chicks?

Hi,
When I got my first flock as chicks, I had to put vitamins in the water. I hatched a single chick under one of my silkies, and raised her without vitamins but now with 3 more I'm wondering if I should put leftover ones from the first flock. They are called Amprolium. Any advice?

Amprolium is a thiamin blocker used to control coccidia exposure in chicks, it's not a vitamin!
If your chick starter is fresh, it should contain all the vitamins needed by your chicks, so there's no reason to add more. Mary

Yes, I never add more to the already quality Chick starter I feed....

Amprolium is not a vitamin. It's only use is to treat a sick animal that has coccidiosis. If you want to give your birds vitamins, Poultry Nutri-Drench is an excellent product to use.
