Vitamix Thread

We have been doing alot of squash/pumpkin soup and dips in it. Margaritas too of course, it can crush ice into velvety snow drifts.

Theres a million uses, someone posted a video of instant (kitchen scrap) compost on one of the vitamix forums.

I haven't tried any soups yet. I've been having fun playing with the smoothies though.

I have been making the frozen yogurt alot. You can vary it really easy....

1 cup vanilla yogurt
1# frozen fruit

1/3 cup sugar (optional, but good)


I've done srawberries, peaches and kiwi and combinations of these.
If you have a Grocery Outlet store near you it's a good place to get the fruit on the cheap. The kiwis are from my back yard. Next year I will freeze more seasonal fruit myself.
