I just saw a vulture stalking my ducks. He was on the attenna just watching down on them..they let us know!
Do they kill too? How do you get rid of them?

Definitely nothing to worry about in South Jersey is vulture Central. Actually pretty picky Birds I try to feed them a few dead cats once they weren't buying it.

I'd be more afraid of red tail hawks
Okay, just worried..this thing was huge! And pretty close.

Unless a flock of vultures is starving or spots a dying animal, they won't attack live prey. It may have been the vulture was curious about the ducks, or was just resting.
Ducks, chickens, small birds, etc don't know the difference between vultures and hawks, they'll alert to all birds of prey, but vultures are scavengers. Their beaks and claws are actually very weak, they aren't equipped to kill. Nothing to worry about!

I love vultures. I make sure to pull roadkill out of the road so vultures can safely get to it, when I can manage it. Dodging cars is dangerous for both the vultures and the people in the cars. Plus, if you put the roadkill in your yard and watch from a window, you get to see them feed. They're really quite wary, they'll leave if they see you staring at them. I like to watch them, they're rather pretty (aside from the bald heads) and are some of the largest birds you'll ever see. Their sense of smell is amazing, too.

I've read that they will attack live animals

Unfortunately, you can't trust that everything reported to be factual actually is. These birds are carrion eaters; Nature's sanitation engineers. They eat the flesh of dead animals. That's why so many of them are seen along roadways, and why they have no feathering on the head & neck to get all nasty with rotting meat. To the best of my knowledge, they will not target a living animal.

I walked up on a clutch of half grown vulture chicks along a gorge. Talk about ugly cute! Looking for the pic. Had to get it off my Facebook, likely lost quality.
