Waddles and combs?

I know that the waddles and combs colors are a factor in egg laying. My sex links have red ones, and they are laying. My EE isn't laying yet. Will the EE's comb and waddles get as red as the sex links or will it be lighter or darker? I know she is getting ready, but since she is a different breed I'm assuming she will maybe have a different color comb and waddle.

Depending on the breeds that were mixed to make your EE, she might not get wattles at all.

My 3 EE's do not have wattles...have red around their eyes and a pea comb.

I haven't noticed any waddles on mine either. Today as I walked past her she squatted. I wasn't even trying to touch her, just stepped next to her. Her pea comb is a dark pink/red. So I'm thinking she's getting close.
