Waiting around - AKA Whats new in your pen or incubator??

I have some chocolate turkeys purchased on ebay in the bator now. And quail. In fact, I candled them today (turkey) they'be only been in since saturday morning. I usually wait and candle later, but another thread has so many checking often and posting cool pics that I just wanted to know. Looks like 5 have dark lumps on top, and 2 appear mostly pale/clear. Wish I knew what that meant this early!!

I'm looking for my postal carrier to bring my pure bred Americauna hatching eggs tomorrow. I borrowed my dad's incubator & added an egg turner that I got for Valentine's Day. lol I could not be happier! The temperature is stable and ready to receive. This will be my first solo hatch. It was quite a long time ago when I hatched quail with daddy.

Hi peeps

Home sick today. I've just bid on some Large English style Peking ducks on Ebay. Guess I didn't think I had enough eggs in the incubator. I may have to make another hatching incubator!

Where did you get the info about who has posted how much?? I've looked for it.

Also, I've got a duck pic (my babies swimming in a tub) I want to put on instead of the grey chicken I'm currently enjoying (sign)

So, its on my desktop. I just go to my change section, and try to upload it from there? I'm way better with music and biology thatn computer science. :-( Raised in the dark ages.

well lets see..ah ,Ive been busy tryn to set everything up.I got JG's in 1 pen . got RIR and r.ed star in another tryn to get PBR set up in another. got 6 SS chicks and 5 red star chicks in the brooder. there about 3 weeks old now. got WJG"S in the incubator. still workn on the fence for the run.and to top it off ,I got 25 chicks ordered from mcmurrays that are to be here the first week of March. ther BO,SLW,JG,PBR. so its a rush to the finish line tryn to get it all done in between the rain showers witch seems to be about every other day or so.

Did you have any luck with the breeders from the list I sent you?

I have some Jersey Giants and Wheaten Marans due to hatch today and more on the 29th.

So hard to wait, isn't it?
Speaking of waiting... my eggs have been delayed by our efficient postal service. It seems that all of the mail coming to Alabama now visits Birmingham sort facility instead of Atlanta. I don't think they have it totally together yet and is causing numerous delays.

I must wait another day and pray that they arrive safely.
