So cute. Also by the picture you took the one with the dark but orange bill looks like a pekin. I have pekin and buff ducklings right now and that really looks like a pekin. It might just look like that cuz of the way you took the pic. BYW they are so cute!!!!

I’ve been wondering the same thing about their bill colors.
The one is more of a brown orange and the other is pinkish bluish?
Their down is more of a brownish yellow. Do Buffs come in different colors?

Tomorrow’s the big day!!!

I’ve been watching my tracking number all day and USPS still says estimated delivery date is Thursday! I’m really hoping they’ll be ready to pickup tomorrow. It worries me thinking about my babies in a box an extra day!

OH NO!!!! I don’t know how I missed your earlier post.
Hopefully they are just bad at keeping the tracking updated. That breaks my heart too BUT hopefully that’s wrong. I got a text saying delivery was Thursday after the post office already called me and said they arrived on the Noon truck. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

So cute!!!! They look like they’re growing big already!

I checked this morning and they are in at my local post office! Now I need to drop my daughter off at school and pick up the babies!

I have a question... what kind of bedding did you use in your brooder? Do you switch to a different type once they get older and/or go outside?

They are so cute!!! They look like my buffs...just way smaller. I think the bill thing is fine. All my buffs have a different shade of bill:dark gray, gray, pink.

I got my babies this morning!!! I had to setup a make-shift brooder at work so they could be with me here But they’re eating, drinking, pooping, & sleeping!!

Yay!!!! I’m so glad they arrived today. I would’ve totally taken mine to work too LOL
I use Tractor Supply Fine Premium Pine Shavings in the beginning. I think they are softer and cozier for them in their bedding area.
Then I have a section where they eat and drink. My husband put a cooling rack for them to step on. Underneath is a cookie sheet that slides out for cleaning. I just use a brush and scrub any lingering poops that didn’t fall through. I want to add a puppy wee wee pad on the cookie sheet so it’s even easier to clean.
I’ll post some pictures later. This has been working out better than last years set up.
Once they are old enough to go out I switched them to Horse bedding pellets.
I LOVE THEM.
