Waiting for the $1000 eggs 🥴

I’m getting anxious - be patient with me I have 4 OG and several right behind. My OGs are now 23 weeks and the others are 19 weeks. No eggs! Do they look close to you or do you think they will wait until spring? Weather here has been back and forth. First 4 pics are my OGs (barnyard mix) 5th and 6th are 19weeks (Blue Plymouth and cemanis)

I don't know about the Cemanies, but the girl's that have the skin on the faces that are turning red could start laying soon.

That’s what I’ve been thinking, but they’ve been red for weeks. The first two lay down when I reach for them. That was pretty cool The first (Georgina) is my most loving

So, you have 2 that are being submissive by laying down when you touch them. What is the amount of space by the vent between the pelvic bones?

Be patient, if they’re squatting that’s another sign your close. I agree with @BlueBaby , do a pelvic exam to see if their bones have spread to let an egg through. Winter solstice is next week and lengthening days will help your pullets get started as well.

Might look for hidden nest also, For just the two the black birds are not point of lay.
May wait till days to lengthen.

The first one is about 3/4” and the second is a little less than 1/2”. Sorry if the pics were unnecessary.

They have several nest boxes ready for them, some have golf balls. I’ve seen nothing in their run, and they haven’t been out recently due to some predators.

The cemanis are going to be very late layers
