I'm in the same boat also! My first chickens (ever!) ordered from MPC were supposedly shipped yesterday (from Meyer in OH.)

All I got was a tracking number that USPS has no updates on. It only says the label was made... Waiting for the item to be picked up!

This is the longest wait ever! I ordered them back in January!

Hope everyone gets theirs to arrive safely asap!!

Waiting for tracking updates is agonizing. Usually I get my shipments before they update. I hope your babies arrive soon!

Is your brooder all warmed up and the broody still sitting?

Yes and yes, plan is into the temporary brooder , introduce to food and water get some nutri drench in them and when it gets dark pop them under Fluffy who is sitting on the wooden eggs warming them as we speak

The last time I picked up chicks at the post office there was complaining in the back that they couldn't reach someone to pick up her chicks. The mail carrier wasn't happy that they had to deliver noisy chicks. I am early on my driver's route, so she will only have to put up with my chicks for about an hour.
