Moondrop suddenly had something inside her that was pulling her, begging her, to go into the woods. No! she told herself. But curiosity got the best of her. She quickly walked into the woods, away from the safety of the dens.

She darted between the trees, keeping herself low in case anyone else was walking these woods. She jumped at every twig that cracked, every bird that sang. She was on full alert. The curious feeling led her to a small clearing. "Is anyone here?" she whispered. It was silent and still in the snowy woods.

Genba looked at Hougen noticing that his eyes where turning red " Hougen what's happened to you your not your self

Hougen looked at Genba with a anger look "Don't see Moondrop" said Hougen

Moondrop frowned. She padded back to camp. What was pulling me to that spot? she wondered. She padded over to Genba's den. "Genba?" she asked. "You there?"

Hougen stared at Moondrop with his red eye

Genba saw moondrop "Hougen You'd better go" said Genba

"Remeber what I said" said Hougen

Moondrop stared at Hougen with one icy eye.

"Hey Moondrop come in" Said Genba

hougen left with anger in him

"Genba," Moondrop began, "there was something pulling me into the forest. I followed the feeling, and it lead me to a clearing. I didn't want to go exploring by myself because it might be an ambush, and I would want to warn the pack. So I was wondering if you would go with me, since Terra and the others are still asleep."

Koa smiled at the sleeping pups. She had found a baby fox once, and she had cared for it until it was able to survive on its own. She thought about the memory.
