Walking My Duck

If he is already used to a diaper, would a harness with a leash be too much of a stretch for him? They have chicken harnesses that I'm sure you could find a way to adapt to the different body shape of a duck, I've looked into it because I wanted to walk my ducks also but decided against it because one of my ducks has an attitude problem with me, always charging me when my back is turned (sometimes even when my front is turned! lol) She charges and then turns and runs away haha. Anyway, there are options but I honestly think that if you want to take him for a walk, you need a leash.

Thanks for the idea everyone!
I do have a leash. He has a loop near the base of his neck on the diaper where you can hook a leash through. However he's horrible with the diaper even though we've put it on him since he was a baby, thats why I didnt want to put it on him outside since he has to wear it inside the house already. Once I attach the leash on he runs and screams like I'm trying to kill him. So.. imagine looking at that scene in public, I might have animal cops called on me or something. He won't follow me with the leash attached, he'll run away thinking he can escape the leash that is already attached to the diaper. I can't let him have full reign of our yard because there is a mongoose somewhere around here that ate his sister and they are very difficult to catch. He follows me fine on his own with or without the diaper just not with the leash. But I guess that's understandable since ducks don't really walk in front of you, they tend to follow their mothers behind so when he sees that strange leash in front of him he backs away and runs.

Do chickens follow behind you or walk in front? If my duck sees something strange in front of him, like a leash, he makes a break for it. So maybe I need someone to walk in front of him and me in the back holding the leash instead. That way it won't be in his viewpoint

I know you aren't asking about angel wing, but when I was watching this video, at the end he puts a harness on to hold the wrap in place. He has the link for it in the description. I don't know how he has such tame muscovies. ;)

Chickens follow me as long as I have a container of treats and call them. ;)
Maybe let the duck lead you, you follow that way you aren't forcing it to go a certain way. If it wants to go a direction you don't want, then just stop. It won't be able to continue due to the leash. And, will decide a new direction.
I think you have to give it time to get used to everything.
I forget, how old is it?
