I am trying to get a pair to get me some walnut comb traits. How can I get Rosecombs with walnut combs?

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! You'd need to bring in the Pea Comb gene, a Walnut Comb is the result of the interaction between the Rose Comb and the Pea Comb, so is one of four gene combinations: RRPP, RrPP, RRPp, or RrPp... your Rosecombs would be R-pp (probably RRpp if they are purebred lines)

I don't know anything about Pea Combs other than I love these combs!!!!

Great to have you aboard and good luck with your breeding program!

So I would need a Rosecomb pair of a Rose combed and a Pea combed? Awesome! Thanks!

Ya, if one parent is Rose Combed, and one is Pea Combed, you will get at least some Walnut Combs given enough chicks, what ratio you would get (overall) would depend on the exact genes the two parents carry (if you know what you have you could do Pundit Squares to figure it out).
