wandering roo - what is he?

He looks like a mille fleur cochin.Hes to big to be a d'Uccle and doesn't have a beard, he could be a mix though of something like that.

He's a Millie Fleur Cochin (Pekin). Doesn't look like he's mixed breed, just mixed color.

I'm sorry I must strongly disagree. You are just looking at color, not at shape, size and other characteristics. D'uccles have a beard and muff, a much different tail and body shape.

This is a d'Uccle:

From the looks of his wings (longer than his body), he looks to be a bantam, so I'm going with Mille Fleur Booted Bantam. http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGK/Millies/BRKMilleFleur.html

And
yes, mille fleur is a color, d'Uccles are a breed, also referred to as Belgian d'Uccles. There are many breeds that come with mille fleur coloring (mille fleur, btw, means many flowers

). And since d'Uccles are supposed to have beards, I said Booted Bantam because he doesn't. BB don't have beards, but have the leg feathering.

There are a few actual Booted Bantams here... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&cp=19&gs_id=2b&xhr=t&q=mille+fleur+booted+bantam&gs_sm=&gs_upl=&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1280&bih=602&wrapid=tljp1323025728828034&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=RsXbTtPyEIHn0QGX0IjoDQ

Notice
they are mixed in with the d'Uccles.
