I'm sorry I must strongly disagree. You are just looking at color, not at shape, size and other characteristics. D'uccles have a beard and muff, a much different tail and body shape.

This is a d'Uccle:

I admit there's a little bit of rounded butt but I dunno, the could still be in the growing stage.

thats a cochin or cochin mix. no d'uccle in him

wow didnt expect so many posts when i logged in.....i have a d'uccle roo here and this new roo is bigger than the d'uccle, same sort of colour pattern but looks very different (body shape)

thanks all!

He is without a doubt a cochin, bantam I am assuming based on the pic? His color is the Mille Fleur pattern. Pretty I might add, with a couple of good typey cochin hens he should produce so nice looking offspring.

Nice find to just wonder up in the yard.

I agree with the others, that little man is definitely rocking a cochin caboose. Mille Fleur coloration. I'd keep him and give him some mille fleur girls! I think it's such a pretty color.

ive never seen that colour in cochin bantams here, so highly doubt i can find some pretty girls for him

ive seen buff or red here, and rarely on online forums a blue or red!
