I am planning on getting chickens this year. So i am trying to learn as much as possible before i get them. I am hoping for "adult birds". Have to get city permit,(Rochester, NY) they have raised the price to $75.00 a year. Its hard to find the right information, but everything is shut down. I would like easter eggers, something intrersting. Neighbor is willing to help.... when she was a kid, it was her job to collect the eggs and sell them...no she is not old , she is 30 something. No rooster not allowed.
I am also increasing my raised beds. Used to use anothers neighbor yard to veg garden.. he got to old and used to sit outside and help. Place has been sold.now its moving into my yard.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Good luck on getting started keeping chickens. I admit I find it appalling that residents are charged $75 a year just to keep a small flock of chickens.
