I love chickens. I rescued a few newbies (frizzle is pink.. *Not blood*) and half of them stayed inside as it was a treat day. So some of them are in rough shape still but are super happy now! I love seeing hens who never had a rooster and go gaga for them. My Wolfie is a gentle soul. My chickens were super chatty today and quite nice to each other.

Thanks everyone.. I have more I just need to go through them. I use horse wood pellets in the run and love it. I also drag logs and stumps in and re-arrange them often. My rooster has sweet eyes... I am not fond of stink eyes

LOL should I be embarrassed that they have their own China? Or that I serve them treats on plates?

I think the china helps them realize they are not "throwaways," but, fine, upstanding hens.
