No veins.
I'm about to put 11 eggs into my calibrated Hova Bator incubator at noon today. They're random from Rhode Island Reds and Silver Lace Wyandottes, off of a 'Muff' Buff rooster.
I'm sorryBut like I said, give them till day ten. I've had some before that I really really thought weren't fertile and then on day ten suddenly some veins had crept out from under the air cell. This especially happened a lot to me with eggs with large air cells.
I'd like to join! I have a full incubator. I put in 15 Marans eggs from TN on Monday, 31 Silkie eggs from GA yesterday morning, and have been putting in my eggs from my Silkie pen and Polish pen daily. Yesterday I had a Silkie egg from 1/17 hatch, and last night while I was sleeping a polish from the same date hatched!
Well I put 29 eggs in lockdown last night. I have a turner full of eggs that are on day 7 and I just set 20 eggs today. I sure hope it warms up soon or my guest room is gonna stink! I am also secretly hoping that ee chicks are going at auction like they were last year! $7 ea! Otherwise I am going to have a lot of chicks!
