Want to sex cuckoo marans tell me how

Hi I have some cuckoo maran chicks tell me how to sex please. One is darker more defined white lines/marks larger comb, the other 4 have lighter colors less defined marks smalle or no comb showing yet are these the pullets ? I sure hope so LOL Thanks all for your help.

It sounds like it. How old are they? Mine are about 3 weeks and you can pretty much tell the difference
The pullets are a little grayer with indistict markings. The roos are blacker but with a lot more well defined white.

the cockerals are lighter as they have 2 barring genes (usually, there is the occasional roo with only 1) and the pullets are darker because they only carry one copy of the barring gene.....
