I currently have 26 golden comet pullets, and I would like to have a roo or two as well. I have posted looking for a roo, if that fails, does anyone have any GC hatching eggs to sell?

At home breeding usually doesn't produce as good a layer as hatchery bred sex links. If you breed a golden comet roo to your pullets you'll just end up with mutt chickens and they won't be true golden comets. Golden Comets also aren't natural sitters. You can breed your own GC's by crossing New Hampshire Red roo to White Rock hens, as the previous poster mentioned. People have had varying results breeding these themselves, most agree the hatchery stock are better layers.
