yup.

don't judge 😳
Anxiety stinks! Do you have one of these? It's a dematting comb. You can get them on line, but they're probably cheaper at WalMart or other big box places. You just run it through the mat (wiggle it slowly) and it separates it into pieces that you can work out with your fingers. I have a cotton-wooly cockapoo (at least that's what we think he is - he's a rescue) and that little comb has been a Godsend!

Just that their hair gets cut too short or something.
They've had a few bad haircuts before. Most at other places but still..
Teddy is just getting a bath and a brush out, Rosie's face needs a trim, her body, and a bit on her behind.
Ever since that time Rosie's top knot got cut I've been traumatized 🤣
Take a picture with you showing what you want her to look like - and leave it there with her.

How about you do it yourself so you can avoid the worrying.
Sometimes that cause even more anxiety ... because you know whose fault it is if it doesn't look right!

Not really, though - You've had her long enough to know what you like. Just try it ... The stuff grows! And it's fun. My Shih Tzu did better with me than the groomer ... not so traumatized! She actually looked forward to bath & blow dry (and trim) time, When people laughed at me, I showed them. I'd just say "Chu-Chu, wanna get wet?" and she'd take off running. They'd laugh knowingly and say, "See? SURE she does!" Then I'd tell them to go check the bathroom ... and there she'd be, waiting IN the tub, smiling with her butt all wiggly and her floor-length coat just a-flying in the breeze! It was perfect. I miss my girl. I will always, ALWAYS have a Shih-Tzu shaped hole in my heart!
