Anyone have an old peahen that doesn't lay anymore. I have a lonely peacock and I don't want to do babies.

Look for a charcoal peahen. They do not lay eggs or lay infertile ones due to a genetic defect.

You may even be able to get a couple of young males if they are free ranged (yearlings) or like bandbaustin said get Charcoal hens they don't lay and if they do eggs will not be fertile. How old is your male?

Not sure. He has been with us for at least a year. He just moved in here. I know that he is at least 3or 5 from the previous owner.
