I have observed that broiler birds love to have their heads scratched too.

I just realized that the others look like they are waiting in line! I took all these pictures myself, one-handed. The last one was really hard because Sweetie will literally lay on her side and get comfortable under my chin. She wouldn't dream that I would 'drop' her but I have to be careful that she doesn't roll off!

I have 1 BO, 1 EE & 1 GLW who are totally lap chickens, the rest of the flock could care less to get a good scratch on the neck & behind the ears. Funny thing is they all got equal attention as fuzz butts, now @ 5 wks old they would rather chase bugs than hang out w/ me.....

At least some of them love me unconditionally!
