"Are you going hunting or what?" meowed Nightpaw.

"Yes we are. Nightpaw." Shadowfire purred.

Cloudkit pounced on Nightkit.

Sootfurs eyes gleamed. "Thank you." She could hardly contain her excitement. A loud purr rumbled deep in her chest.

Nightkit squealed in surprise. "Hey!" she squeaked. "No fair!"

Nightpaw laughed a deep purr. "Nice one, Cloudkit!" she meowed, amused.

"I better head back and check on Mintpaw". Sootfur smiled, then padded away.

Nightpaw twitched when Sootfur walked by her. "Maybe she could join me and the kits, while I teach them hunting moves?" she asked. "Ask her, and if she wants to, we're right outside," she finished with a purr.
