Dawnheart smiled, remembering when Thunderstar became the leader. Poor Redstar. She thought, pulling herself from a daydream. Thunderstar is doing an excellent job in his place.

Quailkit tumbled out of the nursery, her paws leading her towards the medicine cat den where she could make out the familiar shape of the medicine cat herself, "Good morning Speckledpelt!" she mewed happily, her tail bobbing up and down with each skip she took, "What are you doing?" she paused, not bothering to wait for an answer, "Can I help with whatever it is?" her head cocked to the side.
