I would guess raccoon and he grabbed them through the run which is why they're not dead and no entry through net. Do you have raccoons in your area?

That does not appear consistent with owl damage. Owl action I have seen has fowl killed consistently before consumption begins. Looks more like raccoon sign.

I fear there has been a repeat last night against OP's flock if efforts not taken to keep raccoon out.

My suggestion is, if you have a game camera put it up because the predator will be back and then you will know for sure what you are dealing with. Good luck...

Last nights visitor behind some of the coops. A fox.

A coyote. It's hard to see but it's there.

Interesting, not super familiar with owls, we don't typically have many here. I did get a print in my mud from last night though... i need to upload it. Have a trap coming from friends that i am setting tonight.

Sadly, i do not. Pretty sure my print evidence left from last night confirms a racoon. I have a trap coming so i will get "it" gone.
