Was this chick born with a bad eye?

I just hatched some chicks this past Saturday and today I realized that one of my chicks eye doesn't look normal...

Sorry that the picture isn't very clear. He seems to be able to see okay but this eye also looks a little bit watery.

Thoughts?

Not normal, but not much you could do about it either. You just have a kind of odd one. Does the eye seem to work ok?

For the most part, yes but I'm gonna really need to look at him for a bit to tell. Hopefully the little guy will be okay

I'll double check, but it seemed like he could. Maybe I'll tlalso try to snap another pic

Yeah, trying to see if the little fella could use some eye ointment. Looks a little watery so i'm wondering if the lid isn't scratching the eye.
