wash or not to wash eggs

Well, a few times I have pulled out dirty eggs from the nesting box and washed them off with dawn dish soap and warm water. Then when reading some places that I google they say not to use dish soap, and not to wash if they look clean.
So my question is, wash all eggs and use what, or only wash the dirty ones?

You can wash all of them, but if you don't they'll stay fresher. I only wash my dirty ones by rubbing it off under warm water, no soap.
