Washcloth/rag, loofah or soapy hands???

Dove and Ivory makes my face burn also...well..all soaps tend to do that.

Dove isn't as gentle as you might think. Dove made me break out, which sent me on a quest to understand the ingredients in commercial soap and to find something for my very sensitive skin. The detergents and synthetic surfactants in the dove is what irritates my skin. Solution? I made my own soap, high olive oil soaps with a high superfat. Nothing better than self quality control.

Hi There Stacykins....I saw your soap pics... nice! Do you sell them...I'd be a potential buyer!! Like I stated I've been fortunate not to have any adverse affects from using it. My DD is extra super sensitive, has always been. If she rubs up against something the wrong way or touches something real perfumey, she break out in hives. I buy the Dove Sensitive for her and she's OK. She also has used a lot of the homemade all natural soaps that I've use too and has been OK with those to. What scents do you use in your soap and do you have a scent free one?

I don't sell, just make it for personal use and for my family. Too much of a liability to sell and I can't afford the insurance right now. Better safe than sorry! But I do think there is someone here who sells goatsmilk soap that might work for your DD

Goat milk soap on a loofah for neck down, Cetaphil for dry skin on hands for face, water only on sensitive bits. You think a rash on your face is bad, it is worse there.

I have a thing from the Asian market that you can scrub your own back with, but do not wash below the equator with it, very rough!


And I never use bar soap! Too many years of scrubbing it off tenants showers when they move. Liquid soap only for me thanks!

Can you use bar soap with one of those plastic poofs? I just tried my first poof tonight, and I got to say, WOW. I got alot of suds with this thing. It was fun! I guess I can use my newer washclothes as hand towels.

They do lather up real nice.....Makes the soap go along way!!!

I really love mine as when the soap gets smaller and smaller just add another bar and presto....no waste
