Don't we all. My neighbors are used to me running around in shorts (sometimes boxers) and tanktop all year round. They call it russ' uniform. Last year my boss and I were in Fresno for a week, and of course we were wearing socks with sandales. We heard people in the airport pointing and saying they must be from Seattle.

Oh, Im beginning to worry. I have a friend in Washington. I dont know if it is flooding there or not. I havent heard from her yet.

Hi everyone,

I thought I would chime in here, I live i WA too. I am in Mt. Vernon, on the edge of Arlington where there is tons of flooding going on. The Stillaguamish river has hit historic heights and just dumped on everyone. I live way up on higher ground fortunately, but we are also have to go through Arlington to get to a lot of places we need to go. There were houses and farmland submerged in water, very sad. Finally they closed off all roads into Arlington and couldn't get in. We have never had something like this happen here, a little scary. The wind was ferocious today, but things are supposed to calm down tomorrow. My girls are glad to get rid of the 3+ feet of snow that finally melted, they are now venturing outside. You guys are really a great group of caring people, good support system. I am glad I found you all!

We are in Kelso and yes we were flooded in. Our house did not get anything but our year round creek flooded our dear neighbor below us

We also live on the Coweeman River that threatened a portion of town and about 3000 residents were evacuated.

All is better now though the county ripped out our culvert that diverts our creek to the river. What a mess they made.

Dikes STRESSED!!!!!!!!!!BIGTIME!

Everyone is back in their homes as of last night ! School resumed today! The news said everyone in our county was safe and no reports or any injuries.

On Wednesday my parents had a huge mudslide on their road blocking them in, our wonderful road crew had the road cleared in a few hours.

Another house in town slide down a very steep hill. When the emergency crews got there they found the family of three had taken a ride down the hill in the house, thankfully no one was hurt.

I hope everyone else in Washington and Oregon are safe and wish all of those displaced a speedy return home.

I see you have some of the breeds of chickens I very much fancy!!!!
