I have never tried Raccoon. I would try it at least.
Many years ago I was visiting the South and bought a can of Raccoon stew. Had it on my desk for years. People used to ask if it was real. ??? Finally I decided to open it and it was full of rubber cement.

Russ- at least I thought it was rubber cement. Don't really know what Raccoon stew looks like.

Weaveagarden,
I just PMd you a couple recipes. Had a dickens of a time doing it. I had word processed them at work. Sent them home and couldn't get them to work properly at home. (different programs) Think I got it. Let me know if they came through the internet unscathed.

Russ

Oh Good they came through.

I checked at work today and we have 30-40 coffee brewers in the building, but not one that is portable.

Oh Well

Russ

OK. I had a great pie at Christmas and am planning to modify the recipe so that it can be in bar form and can be easily served and handled at a potluck. I am naming it Banoffee Bars after the Pie name. It is caramel and banana cream in a graham crust. I may have to change the crust some in order to make it firm enough.

I may also do my Peanut Butter Pie in the same way, but won't commit to that just yet. It is Peanut Butter and Fudge filling.

I want to also say that while people are signing up for multiple items, nobody should feel pressured to bring more than one thing. There will most certainly be plenty of food, and some people may not have the time or money to make more. I am sure that I am not stepping on our hosts' toes by saying this. I think the goal is to get lots of people and what you can bring or not should not be a factor in whether you come to the party. Am I right in this ladies and gentlemen.

I agree with you on this weaveagarden. I must say for myself, I just don't know the recipe for small, and I do get carried away. But I do not want anyone to think that they need to bring anything to be able to attend the potluck. The important thing is for us all too finally meet one another. And to maybe see me in my evening gown and tiara, and Russ in his spandex Tux.

With this said we still need quite a few more dishes for the potluck in order to have enough and a complete menu for the party. I am still looking for more salads and main dishes right now. Of course if not a lot of people show up, we will still have a lot of food with what has already been mentioned. I guess that I need to quit thinking to much today.

I am planning on bringing a chinese chicken salad and something called Texas Caviar(a dip of sorts), WG I will send you the recipe soon. But I agree with you about bringing more than one thing. If you can't that is fine too.I really want to see just bugged in her tiara and gown and Russ in his "tux". Spandex again Russ?

ETA- We can always get a meat and cheese tray with some rolls for sandwiches if we need to.

Well, it looks like that will be two men in spandex. RonB is going to be donning a speedo at some point in the party..... I think those are spandex too!???

My body confidence is not at it's all time high right now with all of the great food I have eaten in the last month or so.
