This is Brer Rabbit Molasses. It dissolves quite well, too, as you can see from the picture.





ETA. I'm so going to be trying every syrup I can get my hands on now and take pictures of it. CR created a monster.

Well it ain't raining very hard here in Ol' loveable Rock-Chester but I am too dang sore and not very motivated to do anything. Did went out this am early and bought a new nozzel for my hose. Got really tired of being sprayed when I squeezed the handle and happily the new one works. I washed out the two self waterers and the pie plate they love to drink out of. Go figure.

Time to go check on the Blue Roo and the other one, Rascal. sigh, don't wanna go out. Dang.

Aww. Find a blanket and a heater or fire to get in front of when you come in.

I destroyed my spray nozzle back in November. Didn't get the hose up before everything froze.

Ok... back to work! haha! Not sure how I will be able to concentrate... Neighbor chicken friend checked on them, and thinks one of my BA's may also start laying, her wattles were VERY red today. This is so exciting! How are you guys not as excited?!?!? I'm addicted... "Hello, my name is Andrea, and I'm addicted to chickens."

It's so pretty!!! Congrats!! Did you blow it out? I watched a lot of Martha when she was on, and she made the coolest garland from her eggs. I don't celebrate Easter, but I would sure keep them up all year round and when visitors ask, point to them and say "My chickens made those!"

Oh my gosh! I just went through the most disgusting thing ever! I went out to see Lucy and chickies and they were all happy but the chicks were out and she wasn't letting them back under. She was irritated and squawking, walked away from them, turned around, and let loose a huge explosion poop that looked like sandy diarrhea directly on the wood at the bottom of the hutch, instead of in shavings. Poor girl! Luckily I had half a roll of paper towels n a bin next to the run so I ran to get them and clean out the poop before one of the babies got into it. What a foul fowl mess!

I have some but i'd have to get up and am on bed rest. I dislocated my hip and it took the doctors a week to realize that was what the issue was.
