OK, so I tried to convince DH to let me drive out there and pick up the last of the stuff we need, and then come home. He really wanted to say yes, but I wouldn't have made it home in time for him to leave for work. Boo. Which then prompted me to call my papi and ask him to check out the new Wilco in Gig Harbor, as that's his neck of the woods, and he reported that they will have 32 different assorment of chickens starting WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!

I'm in Olympia - I plan on setting a lot of different coloured eggs from several different breeds - but I don't need all those babies . . . .!?!?! (know what I mean

)

OMGosh!! I want to take you up on that soooooo bad, but I am thinking, I won't be able to wait

21 days huh? Oh, boy! That's a toughy!! Let me talk to DH, he's good at convincing me to wait. It would make it easier if we could meet around Dupont?

WOW, took my nearly an hour to catch up on 191 posts. I didn't get a chance to catch up this morning before bed. I got called to run a delivery route last night, so Got home real tired and just wanted sleep.

Just skip the parts where I look like a donkey's rear.

#shakinghead.... My 6 yr can do a textbook backstroke down the pool and back, but quits after 4 strokes on the crawl... :-( classic case I think of just not caring, lol.... And if you push, he just shrugs... Oh we'll, we will be doing swim lessons for another 4 yrs anyway, he has plenty of time..... It's just amusing

Btw.... Swim lessons are a big deal for us cause we spend many hrs a yr on the puget sound, he sails, and wants to scuba when he turns ten....

Swimming lessons sound fun. that is a great idea for a kid, plus it's good exercise. Is your kid getting bored with being told how to swim in the water and just wanting to play?

He doesn't like the work needed to crawl stroke and do the breathing, he'll practice the rest happily

i don't even know what the crawl stroke is. For me swimming means I'm not drowning. Then again something touches my foot and I'm out because there must be a shark, or sea monster in there. Doesn't matter if it's a pool.

Help with color/breed please... I got Klondike through my 4-H group. We order an assortment of chicks, Bantam and LF, from Duane Urch down in Minnesota. I got Klondike as a *maybe* HRIR, but it became ovious pretty quick that he was not. Now I'm stumped on color. Breed, I'm pretty sure, is a Modern Game Bantam, but...?

The lighting ruined the actual color, but gives you am idea of the pattern.

This one is of him in the background, just too show why I think MGB.

I am jealous of all you peeps that get to stay home. I know you work hard at the things you do at home. But I am such a "homebody" that I would love to stay home and do stuff around here instead of go to work. That and then I have to try to catch up with you guys.

I try to read posts on my phone at lunch, but then I get home and have things to do most nights that I just end up lurking for a bit and not saying much.

Well that's all I have time for tonight! Gotta go and get the dinner dishes cleaned up, then I am going to go work out for a bit.
