Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I got my chicks from them a couple weeks ago. They were nice enough, nothing notable. I didn't really think they had the greatest options for feed. Two brands I believe it was.... And I'm a dork, so I bought two feeders. Wish the check out lady would have noticed, but that was my fault, lol!
I just ask cause usually i go to dels farm supply, and all the dels farm supply stores i've been to i've got bad service, had to demand service. Then when I go back to get the bag of feed I often end up finding it myself and loading it myself because there are no workers in the back. When I go get feed I don't like it being an all day thing.
If i waited for employees at dels it would be show up when they open and maybe get out of there by the time they close. *sigh* I guess I don't look farmer enough for them.

Does anyone know of anyone selling Large Fowl Chocolate Orpington hatching eggs right now?
Check with Kidcody, she is in Washington and does LF Chocolates and other project colors. Warning, she is not cheap, but they are English Orps and gorgeous.
This is the first night in a long time that I have actually got to sleep. We had put an offer on the house we wanted, and they came back with a counter offer. The amount we offered in the first place, we felt was still to high for how much work needs to be done, so when they came back with a higher number we decided that we should wait. DH wants to see if they will think about the fact that NO ONE else has put any offer on the place and maybe take our first offer. I want to counter their offer with and even lower number than what we gave in the first place to see if that would make them except our first offer. If not (stupid tears

) we will have to look for a different place.

I also bought wooden eggs for our nests, but I was stupid and bought them at Bothell Feed Center and they were like $2.00 each. Oh well.

I would counter with the original offer, not lower. That could really offend them and take it completely off the table. Offering you original offer will show you want the house but it has needs and you are not willing to go higher. Just my $.02

I "think" the side panels were $80 something. Maybe $90. And I think the one with the door was $112. I can't be sure on the exact prices, since they give a military discount to retirees. We got 9 sides and 2 gates last September. Made a 16x30 (end two are angled) run for the large fowl and a 10x10 for the silkies attached to it. I put most of it together myself in an hour or so. It was much easier when DH got home and was helping. Just having someone hold them up while you bolt it together.

How long will you be gone - looks like Yoda enjoyment is having.

Hi There!

We are back from our trip, we were gone for a bit over a week and had a great time. I sure know a lot more about NYC than I ever thought I would! Making the trip home was kinda tedious with airline & weather issues. It's good to be home safe and sound.

I'm sorry you have to have surgery. I hope all goes better than expected or hoped for and that you heal quickly!
Now we are trying to decide exactly how to proceed with growing my little flock. I may end up with chicks after all!!

But it all depends on finding the ones I want.
