Vent on Sister. We had our puppy stolen from my mom's back porch, and put an add on CL. Some (

) called us and asked if we would give him a reward for information on our dog. Me, knowing it was some BS! called the cops and we met up with him. He had no clue where our dog was and you could tell this was his scam. Taking advantage of people when they have lost a loved one. SICKOs. The cops weren't able to do anything, so I know jerko os probably still doing it.

CL is great half the time, the other half, you realize you live in a world of crazies....got a great juicer for $20 last time, though!

I'm done with CL, And with rescues. THe rescue said i CANNOT adopt from them to inslave their puppy. Inslave Really? First off not even a word is it? And i'm guessing they mean i'm making a slave of a dog that would enjoy working.
My brother called me to ask how i felt about German shepherd mixs. He's calling his friend tonight that has a ***** that gave birth 3 weeks ago. he's going to see if he can reserve one for me.

I'm not exactly sure but I'm pretty certain it wasn't the Americauna. And my husband checked the nest box this morning when there was no egg. He said the Barred Rock was in one of the nesting boxes, but she wasn't doing anything. He suspects it was her. It could also be the Rhode Island Red. I guess I'll soon figure it out!

Oh this sounds so sad! Now I feel kind of mean for wanting them to lay so bad! Oh, poor girls! I'm not sure if mine were emptying nest boxes because of that, since this is only my first egg. But I am sure I will eventually become familiar with the process and the noises they make.

When we were looking for a bigger dog a few years ago, I tried contacting a rescue, can't remember which one it is now. They told me they wouldn't give me a dog because my chickens aren't neutered. Morons.

We got Athena from the Nickel in my Mom's home town. The parents were 4 and 5 with no health issues, but weren't registered with anyone. I'm pretty happy with Athena. Zeus came from the Humane Society of Eastern Oregon. They have a hard time getting dogs adopted out with the area. So he was a life we saved. He was 4 months old when we got him and was food aggressive and fearful. He's got a few quirks that he freaks out about (dog houses), but he's very obedient now and there isn't a mean bone in him. No more food aggression and not fearful. I wish we'd have picked up one of his siblings as well.

After wading through the dying the silkie pink thread I think I was finally able to decipher what she ended up using to dye the bird. She said a veterinarian friend of hers actually came over to help with the process.

I just needed to satisfy my own curiousity. There is an actual line of pet dying products. Interesting.
