Oh no, oh no, eye infection?!

Today on my lunch break, I noticed that my RIR (who has been laying for a week now) has a swollen upper eyelid. I googled this and was met with a slew of things, and now I am convinced she is going to die and take my other two girls (my whole flock) with her. I am freaking out, and I may not need to be. Everything I have read sounds really technical and so I don't know what to do or where to start. This is my first backyard flock so I am not familiar with these issues. Knowing this thread moves at the speed of light, I thought I might be better suited asking y'all what to do than posting elsewhere.

Here's what I think I'm going to do first:
Separate her from the others
Take a warm wet cloth to her eye
Clean with eye drops
put some neosporin on the infected flesh

Please let me know what you think I should do. If you recommend buying certain products, what store has these products in the south sound region?

looking for some help in identifying this mystery chick: Blk astrolorp? Black star? was hoping it was a cuckoo Marans but don't think so.
thanks if anyone has a guess.

forgot to say this baby is 3 weeks old now. thanks
I would guess Black Star since it has the dark washing on the legs, and that is a cockerel
Quote: Nope, Silkies have a LF counterpart, just not in the US yet. Very popular over in the UK. Males are about 5lbs and females about 4

Make sure there is no pain med in the neosproin, anything ending in -cain. It is harmful to poultry.
