Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

It is a beautiful day in CA. Going to dig up plants to take north. Spring as just below Portland. It is on its way.
I am sending Einstein south to CA next week after the show...............and I really want a few horse chestnuts.............if ya see any...grab them !
They should be split open & sprouting this time of year...Ogress wants a few as well.

Note this morning from my friend who has Bjorn
And then she went on about how he started crowing at 3amPDT which... oh, well, so sorry.
Maybe he is NOT on daylight savings time !

I use Bacitracin, it is a zinc based antibacterial ointment. Or any dual antibiotic ointment would work to as they usually don't have the pain reliever in them. Avoid triple antibiotic ointments, those usually have the pain med in them.

I use the Kroger brand triple antibiotic ointment from Fred Meyer. It doesn't have anything for pain relief, I'm pretty sure. I used it for a few weeks on the feet of my Bumblefoot birds and they're perfectly fine (no more Bumblefoot!).

Velvett Fog.....your Bread n' Butter pickles are in the van...........................a quart....probably won't last til ya get back home, huh ?
In that case, make sure to bring a fork !

CR...................if you have some honey to sell...I am interested...local honey for the immunal system helps deal with upcoming pollen allergies~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Oh no, oh no, eye infection?!

Today on my lunch break, I noticed that my RIR (who has been laying for a week now) has a swollen upper eyelid. I googled this and was met with a slew of things, and now I am convinced she is going to die and take my other two girls (my whole flock) with her. I am freaking out, and I may not need to be. Everything I have read sounds really technical and so I don't know what to do or where to start. This is my first backyard flock so I am not familiar with these issues. Knowing this thread moves at the speed of light, I thought I might be better suited asking y'all what to do than posting elsewhere.

Here's what I think I'm going to do first:
Separate her from the others
Take a warm wet cloth to her eye
Clean with eye drops
put some neosporin on the infected flesh

Please let me know what you think I should do. If you recommend buying certain products, what store has these products in the south sound region?
She has infected looking flesh around the eye ?
Irrigate with saline and if you have it, try Veterycin spray for eyes.
Maybe she was pecked around the eye ?
