Hey look at the goodies I scored today ! ! Plastic "elk netting" in 8' wide rolls. Great for top of runs or between runs. I found a free source for limited supply. of this and construction safety fence. Then while at the BIG W amusement park. I found these. Almost perfect for bators or holding eggs. the Temp range is 54-66 F I got them for less than the price of one (VERY CHEAP {like me} )so couldn't bring myself to walk away.

Oh, geeze, that elk netting would make good ground-contact bottoms for chicken tractors or runs, too.

So I almost have everything prepped to make the soup in the morning.

I may have to hit the painkillers but I'll be fine. Ankle had almost healed from the painful poo it does. Then I tripped and fell backwards on my rear and back on the gravel this afternoon. Twisted the bad ankle again. Blech. Then that makes me walk funny and my bad knee acts up.

This is the way of it, isn't it? I stepped on a rock walking down hill a week ago yesterday and blew out my next-worst joint, the right knee that's been dislocated infinite times. Walking to be easy on that joint put too much weight and torsion on the worst of the bad, my left ankle which has never actually healed all the way since the first time I rolled it over at the ripe old age of nine. The pair of them put demands on both hips which they were not really prepared to handle, and on my wrists and shoulders since I had to use my "sports sticks" to go check the cattle- a matter of a minimum of a half mile on uneven ground.

The next time a new nurse looks at my chart and tells me "you should join a gym!" I may well do more than give her my best stink eye. Possibly file a professional complaint.

Chinchillas, bunnies, same diff to me. Did you know that people mix breed chinchillas with other rabbit breeds? bizarre huh? Why would you want to change a cute little bunny or chinch to be anything but it's cuteness!?

So are you talking about chinchilla fur type rabbits, or chinchillas? I can understanding crossbreeding chin rabbits to get a nice meat rabbit. Crossing a Chinchilla (non rabbit) with a rabbit wouldn't work.
