Poor baby. You did the right thing. I look up to all of you who do this. I haven't needed to cull any yet, but I sure hope I have the strenght to do that when needed. I just have no idea of the best way to cull a sick/injured chicken.I put down Elphaba. I am so glad I did too, her entire cavity was filled with a clear yellow liquid(not normal). And she had no eggs developing in her ovum cluster at just over 6mo. At least she is not in pain anymore. I just wish now that I would have done it a few days ago.
