Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I did sew down the triangles. It was a little challenging to get the bag in position so I could lower the needle-thingie. I found that if I carefully folded down the bag I could get it "short" enough to stand up right in the proper position. I will say that this was the most difficult part of the bag.

I can't wait to get home from work and make more - -I've sold 4 of them already :)
I am going to try one today. What an awesome idea and they seem they would be much stronger than the flimsy grocery store totes. I better get to cleaning the kitchen, so I can try some sewing. DH has been waiting for me to hem his new jeans for over a week.

Bravo! sew, what's next . . . . .?

First - more of these - after that I've no plans.  Only reason I got the machine was to make these bags.  At 5 bucks each I only need to sell 10 of them to cover the cost of the sewing machine.

Feed bags might make nice covers for machinery - keep the dust off when not in use.

As soon as I get Baaachus sheared (as soon as I get a shearing table built and the comb on the shearing head replaced, as soon as I get the Wyandotte coop refurbished and the Blue Egg pen finished and the Bantam pen finished and the Hamburg Extension finalized, so, like, maybe never?) I'm making him a feed-bag coat to wear down in the briar patch and throwing him in there for a while.

Gosh this sounds so familiar! I have a box of round tuit's here somewhere, I get one or two every time the DW adds to her honey do list

anyone who has a wife who has a sewing room, or more than one type of sewing machine just learns what they are...what they do? who cares!

Hope everyone is doing well here in Washington.

I have two Barred Rock roosters and one hen from heritage lines looking for a new home. Someone is welcome to have them if they would like to show, breed etc. Please PM me if you are interested. They are amazing birds!

Here is what my Polish baby looks like today. Kinda reminds me of George Michael during the Wham era.

The little frizzle in the front is one of my favorites. It was in the assorted bantam tub, so is straight run. I have no idea if it is a boy or a girl, same with the Polish. They were both impulse buys, but there is no remorse. They both have funny little personalities. I broke the news to DH that I am going to need to build a second coop for my fun chickens. He laughed at me. I think that he is sure that I have lost whatever marbles I had left.

He actually likes the chickens, but will like them more once they start earning their keep. Just a few more weeks for the first batch.

the polish is hilarius looking. I am so tempted, but we're doing the chickens for eggs- and polish would have to be separate, etc, etc.... but dang, they are sooo cute!
