Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Thanks! I'll check HH. I'm not quite sure what I need right now but it's great to know where to go.

I don't know any church groups or anyone that could help. Actually I don't have anyone to babysit either, my mom always does for me. His dads in south Korea with the army and I don't talk to or trust his family because they were abusive and are just plain crappy parents. So it's all on me right now..... The life of a single mom

I think I might buy plans and tweak them to fit what I want and need

that's a great idea thank you!

If you have a Mormon church (Latter Day Saints) nearby, they generally have young men doing their "missionary" service who go around the neighborhoods offering their help. My mom had them help with chores after my father passed. I wouldn't be surprised if they would volunteer to help you.

Has anyone here ever had any experience with them?

how old are they? do you do this often?? where are you located?

got it got it! thanks ill go look again
I am in snohomish. most of the chicks are going on three weeks I think. the anconas are going on two weeks. I got the ancona eggs from eliz at the monroe show. the other eggs I got from
someone down near auburn. they were from her flock and while it was my first time dealing with her she seemed to have a nice place and to take good care of her flock.

some background on me, I have raised thousands of meat birds over the last five years. this is my first time around hatching. I got these eggs to practice before I started in on setting and hatching several hundred turkey eggs for thanksgiving. I have a packed out incubator and more turkey eggs comming in a day or two. Terror bird was out at my place a few days ago and saw the chicks. she can comment if she likes on our brood set up.

I will keep a few of these birds for our family, and look to starting a substantial egg flock soon, but for now these chicks are just a product of my hatching practice and need good homes.

Wow. I just found out our close friend Nate was one of the injured in today's avalanches. He's in the hospital for a dislocated shoulder but nothing else! God is good for keeping him so unscathed...he was swept 1200ft at over 50mph!! He has a wife and 3 small children and is the worship leader at our church.

Glad he is safe Jess. We just watched the news report on those avalanches.
