Your dad and I talked quite a bit about this coop when we all met at Ikea. Tell your dad he did a wonderful job. So creative. And to think he did it with airplane material. Right?Ha! Hey CRThey have TWO porch lights![]()

Here's from the side where the nest boxes are, I just wanted to show everybody how I set it up near the walk way so I didn't have to get muddy feet![]()
Please note the fresh poop on the roof....daggum other birds!!![]()
Oh! I will be sure to tell him!! He'll love to hear it!! Yes, it's foam, lol! Thank you!!!
Oh I doubt that you were the one who screwed up. Frankly I don't think anyone screwed up. I know Slinglings definately did not screw up. I don't know what's going on. Any of the moderators can check here at any time at any of the suspected posts and see that there hasn't been any infractions, (at least none that I'm aware of).
Don't worry about it. Ticks me off that people are being reprimanded for things they haven't done.
There's a screw loose somewhere, but it's not in your camp melissag!
Quote: Thanks RustyHen! I was given a word of caution:
"You might want to move it after it starts warming up, that coop full o'poop is awfully close to your bedroom window" -![]()
You know, my big 4X8 coop with 8X12 covered run is right below the deck off of my bedroom and the only problem so far has been that I can't ignore loudly complaining chickens in the morning who have been let into the run through their solar activated door and are griping because they want to get out and free range in the backyard!
Spoiled girls.
But poop smell has never been in issue. Although we're shaded by a lot of very tall firs in the background so I guess the poop's not getting too heated up.

Our wherehouse is in Kent, just across the street from IKEA. They are 4'x4'x4' (I was going to cut the top off of it a few feet and make a raised garden planter - a great idea from ChickieLady). I have to check and see if they will fit in our trailer, DFH will be picking up some more pallets here soon and might be able to fit it in and drop it off to you. You're in Tacoma, too, right?
