I should get it sometime during our school morning and then I can spend the afternoon putting it together! One thing I'm looking forward to is letting my 5 week olds out of the brooder. They've only ever spent one afternoon alone in the chicken run to fly and play. Now I can put Lucy up top and leave her door open (she will easily be able to hop in there and out from that height) and the babies can play protected from predators and the other big girls in the bottom part of the new mini coop.Quote:
x2! They're adorable! Welcome HereChikyChiky!
Extension ladder will get you to the bottom, of the upstairs window.I do have a full body harness. But since the attaching point is in the back I don't think it would do ya much good. Could it be reached from a tall ladder?

Aside from it being a major pain in the rear to paint, it's amazing!!! Fantastic house, I can't wait to see it when it's all done![]()

Mine don't eat the rhubarb growing in the garden at all! Weird!! It grows wild every year since we moved in, we've done nothing to it and it's spreading like crazy and gets bigger every year! LOL
I toured the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden yesterday. It was a fabulous day for it. I successfully limited myself only one plant purchase. There were several I wanted very much.
Quote: My KEY word was TALL I meant like a 24'. That's how we did the peak of my neighbors place. It is a full 2 story plus attic above the upper ceiling. I think your idea of a cat walk may be a good plan too. Then paint the top first and ya can caulk any screw holes from the cat walk etc. How tall is your tallest ladder?
