Awesome! It's very full of life then. Just wanted to be with some siblings.
I ended up pealing two late chicks, both of who were apparently just tired out. The second one hd no thick nor dried membranes, but had turned so that it couldn't reach any shell with its beak: a quail Bd'A, also happy in the brooder.
Nothing else has even pipped.
In any case, 18 chicks (ten Hamburgs, eight bantams) is really quite a lot.
Julia, insufficient sleep again, hired hand day, doctor's (routine check up) appointment, need to wash hair, and it's raining, ugh.
