I sewed some old fabric that was tore into a funnel shape and sewed little handles in it to hang my chicky nipple waterers from. worked great. Now they can have clean water without being able to kick dirt into it.

I ordered 2 bronze turkey, 2 white turkey, 6 straight run polish, and 15 "heavy assorted" pullets. They sent me a paper saying they sent for the assorted 3 gold hamburg, 3 buff orp. 3 Ancona, and 3 black (something i cant read), and 3 white cochin.

There always seem to be eggs. Often times people will arrange with the breeders, before the show, to bring the eggs they want to buy. I think the barn opens about 8 or 9. Do you have a breed you're looking for?

I will say that fertility has been GOOD but I will not say it has been 90% or better, too much cold weather.

This next hour will be the longest hour of my life. The post office called said to come get my package anytime during their normal business hours. They actually open at 830 but going to leave here at 8 and go in right as they open the doors.
My chicks have arrived. they called me at 6 am to tell me this waking me up.

When I order chicks, I AM AT MY POST OFFICE BY 6 AM................................with a very warmed up car....I track then and I KNOW where they are !
Babies is cold this time of year !

I have 3 trays in my cabinet incubator going, each only has 2 doz eggs though !
HA HA not the full capacity by a long shot !!!
The middle tray has 2 doz Muscovy eggs in it....a few may be crested Pekin, according to friend Mario, if any crested Pekin hatch, he wants them, the rest are MINE,,, LOL
He is getting 20 eggs a day, most are Muscovy.
Totalcolour want any ?????????????????
I can get them, & hatch them for you most likely for free, if not I pay by barter.
My 2 doz cost me a 2# Venison meatloaf ready to bake...........................

If you have them in the same space with your chickens, how much space is it and do they get along?

Let me know if you will be going to the Monroe show, if so, I can bring you JG eggs.

If you must have chicks, let me know that also, and I can stick some in the giant incubator for you, straight run.

No thanks i have muscovies. Muscovies are great mothers so i just let a duck go broody and do all the work for me.

2 of my polish babies are dieing It sucks cause there is honestly NOTHING i can do. They are doing what the ones from feedstores do. Not moving, trouble breathing. basically acting like the stress was to much for them and they are dieing.
