Have you worked things out with your neighbors to make sure your flock will be safe now? :fl

I am almost certain the county police officer out the fear of God into their kids.... And I've installed a camera and heightened the border fencing. The kids parents also assured me that their pellet gun was thrown away.

I have always been raised we put compost in 2, 4x4 boxes of wood with a lids they are lined with black garbage bags,
yard clippings and chicken poo go in one the other one is everything else turn both every
few weeks by spring both are ready for the garden in the spring.. I use white shavings with
my chickens it composts much faster than straw or hay and costs less. we have mostly recycle we
can dispose here at the dump free. We have no garbage pickup because stupid Lemay (my Mom did the old mans
books for years I know both his brat boys...

LOL. I wanted to get my garden sorted out today. It didn't happen. I've got eggs that are just about to start hatching, so I needed to get my new brooder finished and setup. By the time I finished the wind had picked up and it was raining. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

I somehow got lucky and the wind/rain has (for now) held off. Looking a bit stormy outside right now though. I guess the new ducklings get their first taste of Washington weather tonight!
