Well back to a bit of wet stuff, I was real happy with the temps
the last couple of days managed to get allot of outside time getting
the yard cleaned up.
Had one of my smallest pullets barred pullets outside the chicken
yard last night trying her darnedest to get back in another week
they will be to big to walk through the wire

So my surgery is Tuesday and I am out of Tramadol today. I thought I had a prescription on file (this prescription does not have refills) but the pharmacy claims it was never received while the Dr's office claims it was called in. My surgeon is in surgery until this evening so he is not likely to have time to authorize another prescription and my GP does not usually work on Fridays so I may have to go the weekend without any Tramadol. For those of you who are taking it, what else do you take if you run out? I can't take ibuprofen before my surgery, which is why I am taking Tramadol, and I can't take aspirin or napraxin (Alleve) either. I am taking acetaminophen with the Tramadol for headaches but it is not effective for moderate to severe pain. I am afraid I am going to have a miserable weekend ahead of me!

My doc trusts me thankfully, I would be lost without mine.
kinda stinks they arbitrarily placed it on a control list with
opiod's so now I also get pee tests by law every now and then
at his office he laughs that he has to ask me.

All very cute, We are quite south of you
I like raising mine from pullets but am
not wanting to hatch mine or have a rooster

Yeah..we want no more than 4 hens...that is why he have 7 chicks!
So we can pick personalities we like...and hopefully have mostly hens.
We got two of each type and color we wanted other than the one sex link we got.

I did the same sort of I raised 5 barreds, 2 rode island reds, 7 or 8 light brahmas
all pullets. One was lost when it got in wire broke a leg the others walked all over it.
and bought 3 more later. The reds seemed pesky they would kick the shavings
out of all the nesting boxes bug the others in the nesting boxes..
I gave them away.. this spring I sold all 9 brahamas buying 16 barred pullets
and three Easter egger pullets for color.. now I chose to give away
4 barred pullets to add 4 more easter eggers. I like to keep even numbers
for some odd reason.
