Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I don't know the name of it, but somewhere back a BUNCH of pages CL told me there was one then and there. I am sure she can give us both info later.

There is a spring show in Monroe, and a winter "brisk" show, in Chehalis both in WA

Quote: I have been collecting all year. I have a bunch if things to donate. I have enough to make up for you this year. :) I really don't know how to stop trying to make sure that everything is as best as I can make it. I am worn out tonight, and I am hoping to not stay up to late. I am a little concerned that I wan't to do more than I have time for.

Quote: It was the sale area last year that brought me my unfulfilled longing for Porcelein OEGs (or possibly Barbu d' Anvers. Not D'Uccles, though, fuzzy feet bug me). I'd be short a permanent run/coop for them but I want to tractor something on my paver-and-gravel areas to get the grass out of the gravel, anyway.
Is this what you are looking for?

It turns out that I cannot go to the show tomorrow because I have to find a new home for my rooster. He's the one responsible for injuring combs, wattles and earlobes in the past week. I think I'm going to give up roosters and switch to geese! I'll try to make it to the next show.
What kind is he????

Be careful, don't ware yourself out.

Oh man. I've been looking all day for red tiny frames for William. He needs glasses and is only 2, and if my sweetheart wants red frames by golly I'm gonna get him some! I went to 5 different places today and none of them had anything like what we needed. Finally, a friend whose son is the same age and has glasses that are adorable gave me some links to finding the same glasses in red; I'm calling first thing in the morning. I hope I can make my baby happy in his red glasses!

Nope, sorry (well, the right breed); I want Porcelein and that's a very pretty quail.

I've learned, over the years, that the best way for me not to end up with more things than I can handle is to desire very specific and narrowly defined sorts of things: the more unusual and difficult to find the better for my budget!

(The coding on this is all sideways, but I'm too tired to fix it, sorry.

Jess, nice skelter and wood stove!

Jenn, enjoy your Silkies. I wanted a white but the single white egg in my assortment wasn't viable.

Everyone who's going to the show, have fun and wish I could be there.

If I get an extra hen, I might be interested in trading for another color. We'll see how many are girls!

I bought more paper plates, napkins, and coffee cups. I think I have enough silverware. I didn't get a veggie tray. I am going to make a layered dip, and chips.
The picture is what I had on hand last night. So now I need to unload the groceries out of the car, and start making the baklava, and GF almond tart. I am hoping to go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight. I didn't bother going to sleep last night. I am hoping that I can reset my bio clock. I am getting tired of missing mornings.

I also have a case of water, and a selection of soda pop, plus coffee, tea, and instant hot chocolate.

I picked up a few kinds of cheese, a couple kinds of wheat crackers and a couple kinds of rice crackers, grapes, cucumbers, baby carrots, and smoked salmon. I need to slice stuff up tonight, and find something to put it all in that is disposable. Maybe I'll line a box with foil or something. I'll have to remember to throw a few camp chairs in the van. I also need to set up the portable dvd player that I bought, just in case my son has a meltdown on the trip.
