Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

We lost the rest of our snow about last week that did not stick around long and my BF was able to get my greenhouse back up
so am able to start getting plants in good starts for spring...

I am so ready for spring had to start Garlic in my sewing room
of all places see I do not allow our cats in there

I was trying to get a bit of pruning done today. I'm running out of time. I can at least get to the trunks of the two trees that need it the worst now. I screwed up my elbow so I think the sawsall is getting (carefully) used instead of my pruning saw this time.

I'm working on getting trellises built this week. Cool weather crops are started in the cold frame. Gotta get the fruit trees fenced off, they are starting to develop leaves already.
Spring is in full swing here at the beach.

understand that lower lumbar in my back seizes or knees so pick my battles carefully
going to do 4 raised gardens this years and tires stacked 3 high for potatoes

Lower back problems here to put in 8 raised beds last year it worked excellent very little weeding and garden grew like mad.
yes that is what I am hoping my BF is 70 his son has no arches in his feet gives him leg and back problems
like a 80 year old

One mistake I made I didn't put a bottom in I got hit with gophers and voles/mice I will put 1/2" hardware cloth on the bottom this year. The garden did so well they didn't hurt me to bad but it ticked me off. I also had about 20 grow bags I grew potatoes in they did really well and easy to harvest just dump them out.
