One mistake I made I didn't put a bottom in I got hit with gophers and voles/mice I will put 1/2" hardware cloth on the bottom this year. The garden did so well they didn't hurt me to bad but it ticked me off. I also had about 20 grow bags I grew potatoes in they did really well and easy to harvest just dump them out.

We always did the old tires as plant some add a tire layer them then you can
take them off as you harvest also

I hate flaky peoole. We set up to meet with the lady to get the hens at 2 today....allin a span of 2 mi s she says see you at two. Oh im sellingnthem to somone else now sorry.

To answer it takes allot less for wood shaving to compost usually I have a low spot road side of the coop so I had
places all shavings brought out most compost partly in the coop others fully composted 1 year later good black dirt
our plants love it

Hi, I have a rooster (5-6mo) that I would love to rehome rather than send him to freezer camp.
This pic is from Oct 2016. I will take a current pic tomorrow; I just wanted to get this post done tonight.
He is 50% Silver Grey Dorking and 50% White Am.
I live 60 liles south of CDA, ID and Spokane, WA

He has filled out and matured nicely since this picture. sorry its blurry.
I will take better pics tomorrow.

adorable the 6 I have are getting spoiled to the max
