I'm busy here. We went to Westport and bought 4 fish yesterday. Small pieces in jars for us and bloodline being canned for the dogs.

Deep litter only works if it is dry and usually warm enough to keep good bacteria working. That and not too many birds, in a big area.

unless you cover all sides of the run save the wood for inside please it will rot in the rain

Final count of 10 oz jars of tuna is 92 for us and 8 for the dogs.

All but the belly was smoked. 10 jars have garlic in them and 10 have jalapeno.

I don't want to see any tuna for a while

24 jars fit in the canner per batch. The boxes of oyster jars are 48. Nice easy math. When the jars are fully cool, I remove rings and wipe down the jars with vinegar. Then back to the box to wait for use.

Wow 5 a day I have been grumbling about 25 a day just put lights up in all 3 coops this morning still have several hens molting Roo has lost his tail from molt seems to have lost his manly hood as well hasn't came at me since tail feathers fell out just runs away, also 2 hens broody will they ever stop.
