Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

Just scored a deal for 2 pre-fab coops, a chainlink run and welded wire fencing for $150! The feed, supplies, and the 4 8-month-old hens that come with the deal are just icing on the cake. Will be remodeling the coops and fencing into breeding and grow out pens. Hoping to get NPIP certified by next fall.

Wowzer great find do they say what breed ?

oh my gosh never have ordered birds like that golly thank you
It's over 40 birds. The catch is that you have no idea what you are going to get. It could be any combination of chicks, bantams, geese, ducklings, and turkeys. I really can't make up my mind what to add this year so I'll let the hatchery decide. It's only $76.95, including shipping, so no matter what I get, it's a great bargain.

do you have other bantams ? I sure do get a huge kick out of the silkies

No bantams right now. If I get some decent quality Silkies or Cochins, I may keep them for breeding. There is a demand locally for them, but the feed stores don't typically order them.

I kept saying no way but decided I was no incubator wired and the only ones you know will go broody are silkie ended up with 4 from @Hinotori they all have extra toes I think so not to breed
